Is the National Day range halal certified?
Yes. Every item in our National Day range is MUIS halal certified and made in our own halal kitchen at 34 Arab Street — so you can gather friends, family and colleagues of every background around the same table.
What's in the National Day range, and what local flavours can I expect?
Expect a proudly local spread. On the savoury side: Chicken Satay (in cups or as a platter), Chicken Curry with Prata, Otak-Otak Melt and a vegan Wild Mushroom Rendang. For something sweet: Kopimisu, Ondeh-Ondeh Mini Trifle, Cempedak Crumble Voyage Cake and Mini Cupcakes, Lychee Strawberry Mini Fruit Tarts and Baby Bombolini. To drink, there's Calamansi Iced Tea and Iced Bandung.
When should I order for National Day, and is there a last order date?
These seasonal specials are made fresh to order (3 days' notice, up to 60 days ahead) and are available until mid-August. To be sure everything arrives in time, order by 6 August for delivery ahead of National Day on Sunday 9 August. Need it sooner? Check ATD Express for same-day.
How many people does each platter, box or drink serve?
The Chicken Satay Platter serves 10–12, and the Calamansi Iced Tea and Iced Bandung each serve 10–12. The canapé and dessert boxes come as a Box of 12 (Baby Bombolini as a Box of 20). Each product shows its serving size, so combine a few to match your headcount.
What are your delivery charges, and is there a minimum order?
There's no minimum order. Delivery is $8.90 up to $250 and free above $250; orders under $60 carry a $29.90 charge. Prefer to collect? Pickup is free at 34 Arab Street.
Are there vegetarian, vegan or other dietary options in the range?
Yes — the Wild Mushroom Rendang Tray is fully vegan (look for the leaf). For anything else, check the dietary labels and the 'About Allergens' tab on each product page, or get in touch and we'll help you choose.
Are the hot dishes (satay, curry, rendang) delivered ready to eat?
The satay, chicken curry and rendang arrive hot and ready to eat — no reheating needed. Like everything we make, they're best enjoyed within about 2 hours of delivery, so pick a delivery time close to when you'll serve.
Can I add local drinks like Iced Bandung or Calamansi Iced Tea to my order?
Yes — our Calamansi Iced Tea and Iced Bandung each serve 10–12 and can be added to your order to round out the spread.
Which items are best for a National Day gathering or watching the fireworks?
For a spread to share while you watch the fireworks, the Chicken Satay Platter, Chicken Curry with Prata and Otak-Otak Melt are easy crowd-pleasers, rounded off with local sweets like the Ondeh-Ondeh Mini Trifle and Kopimisu, and jugs of Iced Bandung or Calamansi Iced Tea.
Can I collect in person instead of delivery?
Yes — pickup is free at our 34 Arab Street shop; just choose a collection time at checkout.
