This saffron tres leches rasmalai cake is soaked in a combination of three different kinds of milk - coconut milk, evaporated milk, and condensed milk, hence it is known as tres leche or three milks. The tres leches is infused with pure saffron strands to get that distinctive and elegant fragrance.

Inspired by the Indian dessert, the Rasmalai, this dessert has a velvety, silky, pudding texture. The combination of the saffron-infused milks creates the perfect amount of sweetness and texture for a rich, moist, but still surprisingly light and airy cake. This sweet goodness gets topped with saffron-infused mascarpone whipped cream and edible flower petals.
