What size cake works best for you depends on how many people and what kind of event it's for.

Cake is usually served in bigger portions at birthday parties or as a dessert. Buffets usually offer smaller portions.

Our cake sizes can vary since they're handmade.

Keep the Gula Melaka Cake chilled and remove from fridge 30 minutes to an hour before serving. The cake is best served at room temperature. This cake keeps fresh for up to 2 days in the fridge. Store leftover cake in air-tight containers for up to two days in the fridge.

This is a slightly sticky cake, oozing with the dark, Gula Melaka sauce between the layers of cake. We love the fact that Gula Melaka is naturally unrefined and this cake encapsulates the rich, treacle-like flavour of this natural sweetener. Patted on the sides with toasted coconut that reciprocates its own perfume and goodness in return.

There’s more sauce on top of the cake too because you can never have too much Gula Melaka, can you?

The Gula Melaka Cake is one of All Things Delicious best-selling cakes! First of all, just look at it! What a beautiful cake! Glistening gula melaka sauce on top and toasted desiccated coconut cover the sides of the cake. You get delicious layers of gula melaka cake with gula melaka enveloped in swiss meringue buttercream.

Our Swiss meringue buttercream is what buttercream dreams are made of: it is light and creamy at the same time (thanks to the whipped egg whites), it melts in the mouth and it's full of flavour! Kilos of buttercream gets produced at the bakery kitchen every single week! And we flavour them with all sorts of wonderful things like berry purées, espresso shots, caramel, gula melaka and other beautiful, natural flavours because we love buttercream so much! We never, ever colour or flavour our buttercream with anything artificial.

Its way too sweet

The cake itself was already sweet + the additional sweetness from the gula melaka topping = extravaganza sweet!!!

We would think it will be better if any one of it (either the cake or the topping) to be lesser sweet. so the overall taste wont be so sweet.

Great service, Delicious cake

I bought a Gula Melaka Cake for my son’s birthday party. Was looking for a halal-certified cake and was recommended by a friend. They are usually closed on Monday but I dropped them a FB message and they responded to say they would be at the store doing some prep work so they could take my order. Really appreciated them making the exception. Even customised my cake with a long birthday message for my boy.

Collected the cake and was advised how to store it, how to serve it, etc. When the cake was served, it wowed everyone, adults and kids alike. The adults loved the authentic flavour of premium gula melaka and the kids loved the sweetness and nutty flavour.

This is a premium cake so do not expect to pay only entry-level prices. You definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. Well worth the expenditure for special occasions. Next time I need a halal-certified cake, I know where I’m headed!
