I've always loved yusheng! I love the history behind it, I love that it is as Singapore as it can get, and I love all rituals of yusheng! The drizzling, the tossing, the affirmations! But most of all I love the taste of yusheng. Salads are always my thing and this Singapore-style salad is right there on my favourites list. When creating this salad, I wanted to make something as colourful as I can using natural ingredients with vibrant flavours and textures: sweet, sour, sharp, crisp, chewy, crunchy, nutty, aromatic - these endless contrasts are what makes the yusheng so delicious! Made with all-natural ingredients, starting with our Hawaiian-inspired salmon. Delicately sliced sashimi-grade raw salmon, perfectly fresh and buttery, forms the heart of this vibrant yusheng salad. Drawing inspiration from Hawaiian poké, the salmon is paired with a dash of citrus juice, reminiscent of a light and refreshing ceviche. The result is a harmonious blend of rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture with a bright, tangy twist that elevates every bite. In addition to spiralised carrots and radish, this yusheng includes fresh mangoes, pomelo segments, pomegranate seeds and an amazing housemade sesame dressing. Just typing these words make me wanna toss one right now! This signature Yu Sheng continues to be an All Things Delicious best-seller every Chinese New Year. Ours is tradition with a twist - HUAT AH!
