Chocolate Yuzu Log Cake
Chocolate and yuzu is one of those pairings that sounds unusual until you try it. Rich, dark chocolate, then a bright, zesty lift of Japanese citrus that keeps you going back for another forkful.
This cake is almost like a sachertorte, both made with a rich chocolate cake, but in this case we swapped the conventional apricot jam with yuzu instead.
It's our new log cake for Christmas 2026, and it is the first time we made the yule log in this shape. So we're very excited! it makes a traditional bûche de Noël centrepiece on the Christmas table.
