5 Easy Ways To Decorate Your Home This Christmas
A Show-Stopping Christmas Tree or “Tree”

Definitely our favourite and probably the easiest easy to get the Christmas vibe going in your space. Christmas would not be complete without a beautifully lit tree tucked into a corner of your living room.
But sometimes there is just no space for a big ol’ Christmas tree, is there?! Actually, you don’t even need a tree to get into the festive mood! There are other alternatives to the Christmas tree. And let’s face it, the idea of a fake Christmas tree taking up prime real estate in the storeroom for 11 months out of the year just does not add up. A quick search online reveals some great ideas!
Take the opportunity to create a “tree” with what you have on hand (let’s aim for a sustainable Christmas) and decorate it with your family members. The whole family can get creative and think up ideas with objects around the house to “build’ the tree. After all, tree decorating is very much a part of the festivities for Christmas.
Christmas Wreath

A Christmas wreath on your front door says "welcome to our home" like nothing else! Christmas wreaths are a classic and easy way to instantly bring in holiday cheer. There are many wreaths available, whether you choose to spend an afternoon making your very own Christmas wreath using materials you already have or opt for a store-bought option, a wreath will give your guests a warm welcome for the holiday season. We love recycling and we have found this one perfect video to follow for your next do-it-yourself Christmas Wreath!
Light Up Your Home with Fairy Lights

Another quick way to make your home more festive is to string up some fairy lights! They are inexpensive and an easy way to generate the Christmas spirit! Christmas lights are a beautiful addition to any home exterior but are even more delightful when used inside. Literally, just stick them around your door, wrap them around your Christmas Tree or line windows and walls. Ensure that they are secured in place with discreet hooks and that there is no risk of anyone tripping over any wires
In just one afternoon, you will have yourself a cosy and warm Christmas feeling in your living room. For instance, a great way to decorate the table is to display some fairy lights in jars or vases and also string some fairy lights in the middle of the table. Voila, fairy lights for a fantastic Christmas atmosphere!
Make your home smell like Christmas with Candles!

Candles are affordable and festive which makes them an ideal decor for your home this Christmas. Get in the festive mood by filling your home with holiday scents! Our favourites are pumpkin spice, warm vanilla and cedarwood. These smelling candles create a feeling of Christmas throughout the house all season long.
We recommend sticking to one scent at a time and light your candles just when everyone is arriving and settling in your home with a drink in hand. Or light them up after dinner as you all gather around singing carols, watching a Christmas special on TV or playing board games.
Please do keep safe and do not place lighted candles near anything flammable or can catch fire such as curtains and fabrics. Ensure there is air circulation.
Christmas Caroling
Lastly, nothing says Christmas more than the incessant loop of Christmas songs! To get into the festive mood, fill your home with these tunes. Whether you prefer the classics such as It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year by Andy Williams or All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey, nothing completes a festive home more than the epic soundtrack of Christmas music. Create a festive playlist to get everyone in the mood but if you do not have the time to search, there are plenty of pre-made playlists on Spotify, YouTube Music. Need a playlist?
