This pineapple butter cake is a succulent, damn good, lip-smacking cake. Sometimes a juicy, tropical fruit can create a wonderful contrast to the already-perfect texture of a butter cake. Sweet and tart pineapples from the plantations in nearby Malaysia make their way into the All Things Delicious kitchen where we trim and chop ‘em up and throw them into the butter cake mix, resulting in this tropical, magical and glistening cake, topped with 24k edible gold because of huat ah!
