This tropical cake is moist and crumbly at the same time. For our love of coconuts! Do you love coconut? We certainly do! And add in the aromatic and subtle perfume of fresh, grated lemongrass and you get this wonderful tea time cake!

This cake has been part of our repertoire for many years but somehow in 2020, we have not started selling it until NOW! Yay to the Coconut Lemongrass Cake for Deepavali!

  • Lemongrass is a loved spice in tropical Asia from Indonesia all the way up to the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar, to Sri Lanka and India. Lemongrass has this pick-me-up property, much like citrus and never fails to invigorate! Like drinking a cold glass of lemongrass tea, or slurping a spicy tom yam soup, or dishing up the thick gravy of rendang I don’t think we Asians can get enough of lemongrass!

    This cake is made in a facility that handles dairy, eggs, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy and other tree nuts.
  • The Coconut Lemongrass Cake is best served at room temperature. This cake keeps fresh for up to 2 days in the fridge. Always store cake in air-tight containers or well cling-wrapped to protect from drying out.
