This gâteau délicieux is our latest gluten-free cake. Plump, sweet cherries with a soft, almond cake.

This cake is reminiscent of the rustic but very elegant French almond cakes I had tasted in my travels to France. They are always made with stone fruits that are in season and I love to make it whenever cherries are easily available in Singapore. A delectable treat for an afternoon delight with family and loved ones, over a cuppa.

During cherry season, we make this along with a few other cherry season specials and we enjoy every minute of the season! Topped with our luscious vanilla buttercream and cherries on top!
